Alternative cleaners

  • Baking soda (soda bicarbonate);
  • Vinegar or lemon juice;
  • Regular or liquid soap;
  • Essential oils (optional).

Step 1 – Clean the oven and the hot plates:

To begin spring cleaning from the stove. Mix 3 teaspoons baking soda with a little hot water to obtain a creamy consistency. Cover contaminated areas with the resultant paste and allow it to stand for 5 to 15 minutes. The chemical compositions that are commonly used for this purpose are very toxic, especially when heated. The advantage of baking soda is that it is a natural substitute excellent caustic effect against grease and coffee grounds. When cleaning a modern ceramic surfaces, it is important that the prepared mixture is soft enough not to hurt the surface. Step 2 – Make prevention of the washing machine:

Besides regular cleaning of the filter gasket and drawer dust, we recommend that you regularly do and comprehensive prevention of the washing machine against odor and lime. Put 2 cups of vinegar and 3 tablespoons of baking soda inside the dust. Run the washing machine at idle and maximum degrees without spin. Step 3 – Sanitize dishwasher and clean the sink:

After the stove and washing machine, the spring cleaning continues with the dishwasher and the sink. Fill the container detergent of the dishwasher with vinegar and run it on idle. Vinegar effectively removes odors and has a disinfecting effect. No matter whether you use apple cider or wine, the more important it is light, not stain. Meanwhile, soak the sink from all sides, sprinkle the surface with baking soda and rub. If you feel an unpleasant odor from drains or presumes that channel is clogged, pour 1 cup soda and 1 cup vinegar in it. After 10-15 minutes, rinse thoroughly with hot water, rinse the entire sink. If the problem continues with drains, then refer to a specialist for advice.
